Mondeo H/Brake Adjustment - greaserpv
Anyone know where the adjuster for the handbrake is on a R-plate 2.0 16v hatchback is? I expect it's under the exhaust heat shields. Thanks

I think you are looking for something that does not exist as the Mondeo as far as I know has an automatic handbrake adjuster located at the handbrake lever assembly.If you have poor handbrake action then first service the rear brakes and if still not right renew the cables.According to the service manual no adjustment of the handbrake cable is necessary or possible.HTH

Thanks for that; I had already adjusted the rear shoes on this car, and had noticed the strange arrangement attached to the lever,but was unsure if handbrake adj. is possible.You have answered my question. Thanks again.
