my car has recently been off the road for two months due to smash, but now repared my battery was disconnected and ive recoded radio which is working fine but cd changer isnt working, the fuse is ok and wiring seems ok under seat.......any ideas?

do's it have a separate cd player ie multi changer under seat/in boot etc as the vauxhall ones need a code for radio and then you need different code for cd player

yes the multichanger is under pass seat

turn radio on then press button for cd player should come up with some dashes on screen/display, input code, dont know if its the same number as radio or different, is there a security pass card that came with the vehicle that has radio code on it, may have a second code which will be for the cd player

The underseat multichangers on these are not coded.However there may be a reset button on the magazine carriage behind the sliding door that requires a pin/pencil to push to reset.Also you say the car has had accident damage so it is possible that the unit has been damaged by shock.The cd mechanisms on these are very fragile.hth
