Tyre pressures - Verasboy
Hi,
I recently purchased this vehicle which is fitted with Ferderal 225X45 ZR17 91W tyres.
Anyone know the correct pressures for this particlar tyre type?

I may be reading this wrong, just checked both those links for my venerable merc, and they do give the correct figures, but they both miss out a vital piece of information.

On the inside of the fuel filler cap, where merc put their tyre pressure info's there is an important note. The pressures given should be reduced by 3 or 4 psi when travelling below 130mph.

I wonder if the OP's BM has tyre info in the same place.

Used to be on the offside slam panel - a black label if memory serves me right.

I keep my VW Bora's tyre pressures at 32psi all round, slightly above the recommendation.

I use the local Tesco's digital readout airline and first used this figure about five years ago when I bought the car.

To the best of my knowledge the 32 figure has remained virtually constant every time I've used the airline, which is a check about once a fortnight.

It would appear that other motorists don't bother to change the reading or don't know the correct tyre pressures for their vehicles.
