hi all my sons corsa petrol gauge has stopped working all other gauges ok so assume it may be from the sender can you tell me where it is and how to check or any other ideas

I know on astras it's under the rear seat, remove the seat and see if you can get to it that way, just put the live wire to earth and see if it sweeps over to full nice and clean not jumping about.
If not under seat it's time to get dirty!
Sender units are fairly cheap no need to buy genuine vx parts.
