Radio going off frequency - Parmesan
I have to keep keep changing frequency to get a decent signal. In my old Ford KA no such problems so I don't know if I'm just doing something wrong. Is there a trick?

Is the auto tune turned off?

Maybe it thinks that your choice of music just isn't sufficiently cool'n'groovy Daddio

Unless you have a strong local signal regular re-tuning is likely to be required on VHF. Have you checked that RDS and auto-tune are switched on (may need to RTFM!!)

sorry for being thick but I don't know HOW to turn autotune on!

RDS isn't that the annoying thing that interrupts with traffic news?

Nothing wrong with Radio 2 :D

My old Ford radio doesn't autotune, but there's a +/- key that simply rolls the tuning up or down to the next decent signal. Keeps me on R4 in the South West without difficulty. When the endless farming soap comes on I try LBC or just shove the cassette in to get half an hour of crazed Africans bashing rhythmically away on this and that, or William Burroughs giving advice to the young, or something - anything - other than those farming folk. .
