95 N Reg 1.7TD Overhtg- Interior fans not working - dac
let me tell you a story !!!

Day 1 AM Driving to work - temp outside below freezing - interior fans blowing cold

get stuck in traffic - temp gauge overheats - try to drive back home - have to keep stopping - call mechanic - hour later mechanic arrives - all seems OK !!!!

mechanic reckons thermostat was sticking due to cold

Day 1 PM Driving home - temp gauge takes a while to get up to normal op temp. - stop for a bag of chips - start up - guess what - interior fans now not working - get home

Day 2 AM start to drive to work - cold outside again - no interior fans working - get stuck in traffic - temp gauge overheats - manage to get home

not driven since for any long distance - however temp gauge does take longer than normal to reach op temp

Please does anyone have any ideas

Thanks

the interior fans frequently pack up on these. the part you need to replace is in the pollen filter housing . the thermostats comonly pack up as well. the cooling fan should kick in about 99 c
