lost key - runone
have lost a key for my car and have i have been to a locksmith who said he could cut the key and also code it. he was unsuccesful and i have been left with a blank key that he has purchased from main dealer, is their anywere i can go or send to get the key cut successfully. i live in north east england in stockton-on-tees

Have you contacted the main dealer?

Your keys would originally have come with re-order codes

it looks like i will have to get in touch with the main dealer. i know this will cost me , so i was tryig to get it do a bit cheaper

I bought spare keys for my current Focus from a franchised dealer and they were as cheap as chips. The keys weren't genuine spares so I don't know whether the dealer cut them themselves or whether they bought them in already cut, but they were cheap and they work.

A spare full spec. remote-operating key for my new Fabia cost an unbelievable £120.
