Hi,
does anyone know if the spark problem of the Ford KA has been solved on newer models or is it still advisable to remove and copperslip the threads.
Thanks,
Mark

At a guess I'd say the OHC engines have alloy heads, so the plugs shouldn't rust in, but I'd still copperslip the threads regardless. Someone who's more familiar will Fords will no doubt verify whether I'm right in saying they're alloy.

I never had any trouble with my KA's-but then I did look at them before 30,000 ml.
