Vauxhall Vectra C (2002 - 2008) - Aircon Recirc Motor

Anyone got any idea ewhy the "recirculating flap motor" should start to emit a "ticking" noise ? Checking the electrics, it appears that voltage is being applied to the motor regularly - even with the ignition off and the doors locked.

Has the unit a limit switch that maybe isn't actuating ? Should the voltage be there ? Where is it coming from ?

Sorry, I'm new to this forum. The make/model is Vauxhall Vectra C ('02 to'56 reg).

I did fill that in on the pro-forma but it didn't get into the title.
