I just wondered if anyone has come across a mini cooler that can be plugged into a cigarette lighter?
I wondered if theres anything that could hold an ice pack or something to cool the air in the car on long journeys as i dont have aircon?
just a thought

Nothing will do the job of a/c, or even come anywhere near.
|
You can get miniature fans to fit on the dash such as:
www.koolatron.co.uk/koolatron-12-volt-mini-car-fan...l
www.edirectory.co.uk/pf/s/880/fans+heaters+11884.h...l
But don't know how efficient, if at all, they prove.

Or if you have a large buget and can spare the space in the 306

There must be something suitable using evaporative cooling?
Or the cheap option...
Put a wet cloth on your face and stick your head out of the window. With eyeholes for safety of course.
I have seen your posts about the aircon and other problems.
Maybe get a different car if you want to stay cool this summer?
|
i seriously considered a new car primera but wasnt the right time to be spending money, therefore i fixed the other problems like getting the cooling fans working and have had to settle for this for now
after all ive managed without it for years anyway

>>after all ive managed without it for years anyway
How many times have I heard that phrase before? Do you still have a B&W television, then?
People get on the defensive, sometimes, when you challenge why they don't have a particular appliance or haven't followed modern day trends.

no i have a 42" plasma thanks. All i was saying is that i dont have funds to fix the aircon problem or swap the car so i have no choice!

Get a small plant sprayer, and spray your face when it all gets too hot.
Dont forget to wash the baby bio out tho.

Hmmmmmmmm...........very passé.
LCD for me!

>>LCD for me!>>
For me too. However, the general rule was that plasma sets were superior for the very large screen sizes until quite recently.
