Cost of Diesel in Calais???? - a900ss
Hi,

If you have been to Calis recently, could you please advise what the cost of a litre of diesel is?

It'll be about ?1.15/litre - perhaps 0.05-0.10 cheaper in the un-manned stations at L'Auchan and similar.

BP standard at 1.075 on Sunday. Would have been cheaper at the 24/24 Carrefour at Citie Europe but have never managed to get a card to work in a 24/24 and couldn't be bothered to try on Sunday.

Up to 1.17 on the autoroutes and 1.04 at the supermarkets

Paid 1.05 at Carrefour by the University (east side of town, off the ferry port spur) on Tuesday. BP on the autoroute east to Belgium was 1.15. Belgium and Holland as little as 1.065 on the main routes.

The Carrefour I referred to has an attendant who takes cash if the store is open.
