Focus TDCi Wet dogs smell

Focus TDCi Wet dogs smell - y2k+4
Hey folks, got a Focus mk2 and whilst the a/c works, it has the wet dogs smell. I can't remember what causes this, and wondered if anyone could offer advice?

try changing the pollen filter. google puravent for more info on this.

If this fails, then buy a bacteria eating deodoriser such as nutradol and squirt lots into the. Leave the car running with the engine on for a while so that its circulated through the entire system.

As it's still under warranty, could I ask them to fix it under that? Or is it classed as a consumable?

I assume that you've had the car main dealer serviced, if so check the schedule for when the pollen filter should be changed. Have a look to see if it has actually been changed, if they've been remiss on this then I think that causing a fuss in the showroom should get it fixed foc
