Duratec Engines... Reliable ? - graham woods
Hi all, I am picking up a ford Ka on sunday. 2003 model. 13,600 miles from new with full ford s/h. It has the 1.3i duratec engine fitted. Are these reliable engines, and what are they like to work on for basic servicing. Thanks all. Graham.

Duratec Engines... Reliable ? - jc2
Otherwise known as a Rocam(S/African motor); has chain drive cam and hydraulic tappets,nice engine;little to do on it other than oil changes.
