Like most manufacturers,they probably have several suppliers-this overcomes any slight delays and helps to keep prices competitive.

I agree - you won't go wrong fitting Gates.

As well as being a major OEM supplier for the car manufacturers, they even supply belts for other parts manufacturers belt kits. For example the SKF kits I bought for the Mondeo and Fiesta both had Gates belts in them.
