Pre MOT checks revealed that the brake lights were not working. (as well as the reveresing lights). Replacing the 10 amp fuse with similar blew. Due to time restraints, fitted a 15A fuse and normal operation restored although not a satisfactory outcome. Has anyone else seen this problem?

Apart from a short in the circuit,brake light switch and reverse lamp switch would be favourite.
