How can I tell which H4 bulbs are "UV cut" and therefore safe to use in modern polycarbonate light units and which I should keep as spares for my Land-Rover?
I have a mixed box of almost new bulbs form various scrapped or damaged cars which I might as well use if I can.

Printed on the base flange usually a "U" is printed after the type ie H7 ect.
