Hi all,
Question is from my brother
He has a Mercedes Sprinter 2.2 CDI 2000'W and when starting from cold, it takes several attempts to start. When the engine is warm he says starting is even worse.
Could this be the glow plugs on their way out, and if so what would he be looking at for a replacement (5 cylinder engine I think).
Thanks in advance.

If its CDI then I doubt its glow plugs - especially if warm starting is even worse!
My mate who fixes diesels has a lot of these in for repair with bad fuel rail pressure sensor - could be that?
