Renault Clio Alloy cap problem

Renault Clio Alloy cap problem - purpleparrot
I noticed the other day one of my 54 reg clio alloy centre caps is missing. I took one of today so I could tell Renault the part number to order me another one. Now it won't go back on, it just falls off!

Could there have been some kind of glue on them in the first place? They are only plastic caps with 4 prongs on the back and I took it off carefully to begin with.

Can anyone help before I take my car into Renault on Saturday. I know its only a silly thing but I paid a lot for the alloys and want them to look their best!

Hi

I don't know these ones in detail, but the Laguna centre caps are four prongs plus a little raised bump on the wheel which means the cap only goes one way into the hole. Hope this helps.
