Hi
Does anyone know where to buy reasonably cheap motorcycle oil (2 stroke)? Halford's website shows these as £6 for 1 litre which seems a bit expensive.

Must be 8 or 9 years ago now, but I always used to get 2-stroke oil for my son in the French supermarket (Carrefour) at Calais when we did a booze run. It was about half UK price AT THAT TIME. We haven't been over lately.

Try a decent motor factor or good car shops.
Should be able to beat that price I would have thought.

Cheap oil may well turn out to be a false economy.
Cheap oil doesn't necessarily mean that it's of poor quality though. Take Mobil one for instance; on occasion places like Halfords have a buy one get one free offer - cheap oil, but by no means nasty.

I have run a Suzuki GT500 & a Yamaha YB100 ( both 1970,s 2 strokes) for years on wilkos 2 stroke - seems hard to beat & not too smokey cost £1.30 per 600cc
