Quick Question -
Airbag warning light doesn?t go out on start-up, - it stays on all the time... is this is M.O.T failure??

If it's just staying on and not flashing a code number; then it would likely be a system/ECU fault, not a component.
The signal from the airbag module [screwed to the floor under the radio] turns the dash light OFF when it's received by the display ECU; so check the airbag fuse [and particularly, the security of it's contacts in the fusebox] and the module's earth.

hi Thanks for your reply - we have already had one quote to fix it £300 wich i think is extorsionate - however we will look into getting it sorted - but its just as you say the light stays on all the time -
