Today i tried to start the car and no responce, lights on dash all work but when i engage ignition it just clicks, i tried to jump the car with jump leads with a donar car but this did not work, at one stage it did crank over but then stopped again.
any ideas?

Has it got an immobilisor on it? could be playing up and cutting the ignition/fuel.

no, it hasnt got an immobiliser and its the carb model everytime i try and start the car it click once then nothing i trey every 2 mins but does the same thing just click then nothing (?)

Try tightening up battery lead connections to battery. Symptons suggest a poor connection under load.
