whats the diff?
im a taxi driver
is there any system that shows u an area road map on screen(covers 1/4 mile sq) to where u going---instead of where u r and directions.

The last autoexpress magazine had a sat nav mega test - the summary is on their website, portable, PDA-based, and mobile smart phone based. The ones with the most detailed maps are usually the £1200+ ones from VDO Dayton et al.

Wouldn`t they all do that? On my Medion MD 95900 that I got at Aldi all I do is select navigation then simply select "show map" then zoom in/out to suit. I did this while driving round on holiday on country roads!
