Did anyone see the convoy of police cars down the A3, heading toward Guildford this morning? Any idea what was going on?
There was an unmarked old style Land Rover in the middle of the cars...strange.

The old Landrover in there suggests to me it as the bomb disposal squad - there are plenty of Army bases around Guildford / Aldershot and they could have been escorting a disposal expert on his way to a bomb scare somewhere .

Could have been bomb disposal on their way down to Hurst Spit - local paper says today that 10 bombs were uncovered on the Spit during storms last week!
