SWMBO has decided that she likes the look of the PT Cruiser (Having said she wouldnt be seen dead in one 18 months ago). Checked the Car-by-Car guide and it seems to fit the bill, so decided to look for second hand at Autotrader site, only 2 both with delivery miles. Are there any out there second hand and if so what would I expect to pay for an early example with no more than 40,000 miles?

I've never seen a cheap one. The only one I've seen at auction was a 27,000 mile 2000W 2.0 Limited, which had to have been one of the first in the UK, and which sold in December to the GTC for £12,650. I think you'll do better by waiting for the 2.2CDI which is due within the next couple of months.
