clutch change on toyota avensis - skiddy2k

hi,
iv got a toyota avensis, 98 R reg, 2.0tdi and am having a problem with the clutch.
Would anyone recommend any clutch service centres that supply and fix clutches in north or west london?

im getting quoted prices from £270 to £350, bit out of my league i recogn, but are these the going rates?

whats better to go for, recon ones or new? obviously nothing beats new parts, but are recon ones advised? -would help my pocket!

if anyone knows of anybody who has reasonable charges to change the clutch, it would be excellent to know,
