Corsa sxi clutch problems - ka razy
Just purchased a year old 1200cc 16v corsa sxi.Car performs excellent,just one niggle,in the morning,and only then the clutch seems a bit juddery.Any other corsa drivers have this problem?

Mine doesn't. But I did have an old Astra that did first thing. A new clutch sorted it.
How many miles has it done?

Presumably its still under warranty then? If so take it to a Vauxhall dealer and let them sort it.

help needed,I have a 1.2 corsa sxi 10,000 miles on the clock.The clutch when cold judders in first gear,only for the first few miles,then behaves normally.had it back to the dealer(its obvously still under warranty) to be told they couldn't find a fault.any ideas or comments?

I'll be interested to see how your case works out. Our 53 reg Astra has the same problem.

It can be reduced, in our case, by slowly pumping the clutch in neutral a few times with the engine ticking over prior to setting off.

Thanks for your comment number cruncher..In my case it can be nearly stopped by slighty slipping the clutch on take of...dont suppose its doing it much go though.However my other half hasnt mastered it,and my worry is the damage it might be doing to engine mounts etc. will kepp you posted.

My Escort does this if I leave it out overnite when the weather is not to hot. I assume it is caused by the flywheel having a coat of rust ( as found on brake discs). It is always fine after a couple of minutes and has never happened at any other time. Could possibly be the same problem/cause?

thanks Carl2 that could be the answer ..its maybe something ive got to live with..dont think after 10k the clutch should be on its way out.
