Can any of you recommend a company in U.K. that supplies the necessary equipment in kit form to kit out a Transit-size van as a mobile workshop used for on-site repair of Ag. equipment.
This needs to include h/d work bench, compressor, welder, shelving etc.
Any suggestions?

Most people seem to do it themselves (or use a specialist) to get exactly what they want. If the van is boarded out its pretty simple to put racks/boxes etc in as you want. Just make sure that anything heavy is properly secured.
Shelving racks etc from screfix or similar.

Be sure to include really good security equipment in your shopping list - van like this = scrote magnet.

You're right, most people in U.K. do make their own. However I want several kits to export to a developing country where the everyday consumables you take for granted in at home just don't exist. Surely someone must specialise in this type of conversion

As long as you know what vans will be used, I can think
of two companies who make specific units that can be self assembled.
