Some of the cars I have owned/driven in the past would be 69 years old now if they still existed. How do you like them apples?!

And two of them were 22 years old when I bought them. One of them had COMPLETELY bald tyres when I bought it, and had the same tyres when I sold it. No namby-pamby MOTs in those days!

That would make an interesting poll:
"If all the cars you have ever driven on a regukar basis were still working now, how old would the oldest one be?"
I suggest that the list of answers includes "more than 125years" -- I bet someone would tick that one.

Perhaps "How old are the cars you usually buy?" would make more sense.

Buying a mass produced older car today - say five or six years old - is a far different proposition than before around the start of the 1990s, thanks to superior engineering, technology advances and higher quality oil and fuel products.
