can anyone help me with this prob? the blower on my xantia has packed up. it blows very slightly then stops all together! was working fine last week..checked fuse,wires, etc but no luck..its getting cold out there now so has anyone got a clue what it could be??

Just a guess but I had a similar problem on a car a few years ago. Because I had not used the blower for a few months ( summer ) the blower motor bearings had dried out and gone tight. If you can get to the motor try a small squirt of something like WD40 on the bearings.

Had a SAAB motor keep blowing fuses. Solution was to get the motor out (not easy) and dismantle it carefully, clean everything up and get it greased to spin freely. No problems after. Clean up the bushes and all the electical contacts as well with alcohol or meths.
