L reg mondeo 1.8 wont start - catsneck
Please help my mondeo wont start,engine turns over fine,there's just no sign of it firing up,106,000 miles regular serviced,cam belt 10,000 miles ago.no previous problems.glow plug light normal and relay under bonnet clicks after about 7 secs,it may be the fuel pump??? i dont know.thanks

I had the same thing I think with mine. Had to prime the engine manually using the (technical term) push-button pump. Never happened again either which makes it even stranger

yeah thanks for that but ive tried the primer button and after a couple of presses it seems pressured up and the car still wont fire up.

managed to bump car off,no problem starts first time afterwards(warm engine)will try again in the morning,could this be the glow plugs?????
