Civic Power Steering - al mcdonald
Hi

i have had a honda cicic 1.6 esi for a few years the only problem i have with it is that the power steering is too light. It is fine for parking but feels way too sensative at speed, you really need to concentrate on what you are doing with the wheel. is there any thing that can be done to increase the "weight" of the steeing wheel?

Hi Al,

I have a Civic LSi, I have always found the steering perfectly weighted except for when I exceed approx 75 mph, when it does start to feel lighter and more twitchy. Sticking to 70 it is fine.

Have you checked your tyre pressures?
