heater blower motor has stopped working, was intermittent for a week or so but has now packed up completely.
On checking fuse box does not seem to be a live feed to the fuse [fuse not blown]. This fuse also protects the reversing light which is also not working.
any thoughts would be welcome

Maybe it's not the fuse that's the problem. Does everything else work in the car. I'm only thinking if there's more than one 'ignition' relay, maybe one of these has gone somehow? Check they're all seated OK.

Thank you for your reply, sorry for the delay but was not able to connect to the website until this morning.
Have tried your suggestion, but there is only one ignition relay and everything else, exceot for the blower fan and reversing lights are working.
Any other suggestions welcomed.
