have about 2 litres of castrol oil in the garage. anyone know of any uses for it apart from putting it in the engine!? ive found a local garage to change the oil now at a price i cant even do myself for less cash so have no use for this oil.

car doesnt use a drop so have never had to top it up. im sure someone has an amazing use for it!!

If you have a wooden garden fence, use it instead of creosote! Other than that, take it you your nearest tip for recycling - reminds me, I must do the same with the old unused oil I have in my garage........

Whoops, meant to say it was new mineral oil left over after changing over to synthetic.

As well as the squirty oil can, don't you have a motor mower?
Forget that 'only use approved oil...'
