does anyone know where the immobiliser is on a renault kangoo diesel 1999 model?

The immobiliser is not one single component.It is a complex network of coded electronics in the key ,diesel electronic control unit,dieselpump & body control unit (part of fuse box).All these components "talk" to each other & if the coding is correct the car will start.
