omega 2.5 1994. when i start it up in the mornings for the first 1-2 mins the idle is droping slightly and the electrics dim (lights and dash lights) the idle dropes a few times then it stops. then when i start it up again after a few miles it only doe's it for a few seconds. a mate has said that it could be something to do with the air flow from cold start up. i also think that there is a slight smell of exhaust fumes comeing into the car from start up....

Hunting and stalling was something I once experienced on my Rover 820VS. It turned out to be the MAP sensor pipe blocked with kak. A blow through with carb cleaner and all was fine. Be worth a check if your motor has a MAP sensor.
