Saab Alarm - chrisgd
I have a 1996 900s convertable, I am having trouble with the alarm. The indicators flash as they are supposed to when the allarm is set. However there is no aubible alarm. I am convinced there must be one somewhere. At the moment if the car is broken into all that happens is the indicators flash and no sound from the alarm. Is there a switch somewhere that isolates the system??? please can any one help.

Always check connections. Spade connectors vunerable to damp causing corrosion. My van horn needs contacts cleaned every year, otherwise horn stops working. Other possibilities easy to check include failing relay contacts or damaged wires.
