Hi guys i have a problem with my speedo sometimes working and sometimes not.
When it desides to work my fuel light comes on and fuel gauge drops to almost on the empty line, when speedo stops again light goes off and gauge goes back to normal.
Any help here guys.

speed sensor would be favourite, but this sounds like an earthing problem. Check and clean all the engine/body earthing straps, and any you can find that relate to the insturment panel.

Dont know this car inside out, but generally they are on the gearbox. I am sure a mondeo guru will be along shortly

I don't think this is a speed sensor issue due to the other symptoms noted. It is most likely the PCB on which the speedo is mounted. You could try dismantling speedo head from PCB and checking connections as best as possible. Maybe just dismantling and reassembly will correct fault.
