Omega Battery light on, loss of Power St - Daz
This Omega just goes from worse to worse after my engine ans gearbox problems today just done a 20 minute round trip and whilst driving round a roundabout the power steering failed nearly causing me to crash and the battery light is now permanently on.

Has anyone any ideas? Turning the car is an absolute s**, any takers on fire bombing this heap of crap please?

Just opend bonnet up to discover that the usual belts around the turning cog near bottom of engine are missing.

Yes that is right I can see 5 wheel/cog type things which had belts and all the belts are now gone.

Anyone got a VW Passat Estate they wish to exchange?

and maybe have a look at your timing belt whilst your at it!

If you read Daz's other threads, you'll see the problem is slightly worse than just a belt that's fallen off.
