hello everyone,quick one for you,have got a £150 1.6orion LX on a J plate,not a bad little runner,needs a coupla of tyres.........BUT have been offered 4 alloys of a same age sierra same tyre size with almost new tyres fitted for not a lot of cash(£40)(mate is building cossie replica)....so are fwd and rwd ford rims interchangeable?

I'm currently running a set of XR4i alloys on my 2000 Escort est.-no problems.

From what I have heard, the Ford Sierra offset on the wheels is is in the range of other fwd Fords such as the Orion despite the Sierra being rear wheel drive itself. You would expect it to share an offset with the mark 1&2 Escorts, Capris and Cortinas but it doesn't.

It should be okay to use the wheels.

Even Capri and Cortina(III/IV/V) had different offset.
