Help! Piranha Alarm Set To \'Off\' - crith
I have just bought a car with a piranha alarm fitted.
The previous owner lost the keys!!!
I have the remote, it works fine, the alarm is just set to off, and i have no key! DOH!
Does anyone have know of where i can get a key from?
Havent got a clue either of what kind of alarm it is. will i need to take it off to find out?
Its square and has lots of yellow wires comming out of it!!

Piranha has gone out of business. Can you get a key? Maybe, but consider the cost carefully against a new alarm (of course leaving the old one in as a decoy). Search against piranha on this site- I remember reading a posting on where.

Be careful taking out the alarm. I took out a piranha a few weeks ago and immobilised the car for a day since I was careless and assumed it was an old alarm (which it was) with no immobiliser (which it had). I had the key for that but no remotes! Reverse problem.

did you keep the key??!! am gonna try as many keys i can get my hands on b4 i think about getting another one!
i think this has an immobiliser too.
