Peugeot Partner Tepee - Intermittent squeak - tjbantam

I drive a 63 reg Peugeot Partner Tepee 1.6e-Hdi Auto and am experiencing an intermittent squeak.

It is quite faint, but appears to be coming from somewhere around the front wheels.

It is audible when travelling at around 7-10 mph in first gear when in slow moving traffic, but not at any other time/speed nor is it every time.

Would anyone be able to help me identify the cause?

When you hear it apply the foot brake gently if it disappears it's the disc pads, it's quite common and nothing to worry about as long as they are not worn out.

The squeak does indeed disappear when braking.

A relief to know it's not serious.

Will get the brakes checked over.
