Hello, I have the above vehicle that runs like a dream until you come to a stop,thats when the engine cuts out. It will start stright away,but at the next set of lights it cuts out again. Please help!!

You have a fuel or ignition problem. The engines in these are so simple it cannot be anything else. When was the last time the leads, points, coil, plugs were replaced. Perhaps the cartb jets need a clean through.

All simple enough to sort but since you have to ask I suggest going to a garage.

I assume it's a petrol based on these symptoms and would go with the carb jets suggestion. Has it been stood for a while?

Had this numerous times with carbed motorbikes.

Check the throttle damper to make sure it's working and set up properly. If the throttle snaps closed the engine will stall when you stop at a junction. The damper should be set up so that the throttle closes gently to its stop.
