Not too sure this has a map sensor ,more likely to have a maf sensor.

On my 1.9 Berlingo the MAF sensor is located in the inlet air pipe/duct. Look for a grey connector with 5 or 6 small wires going to it

Diesels will not use MAP sensors-theres no throttle!

MAP=Manifold Air Pressure

MAF=Mass Air Flow

Diesels with a turbo will have a MAP sensor The ECU needs to know how much turbo pressure there is so it can adjust injection timing & fuel delivery amount.

This engine being 1.9D sounds like it doesn't have a turbo fitted though.

If its the DW8 engine the MAF will be tucked away low down in the air piping just forward of the battery area.

I've owned a turbo diesel with NO MAP sensor;the MAF sensor senses the extra amount of air going in and makes the relevant adjustments to fuel and timing.
