Hello,

I have a 2000 Ford Focus Mk1 model.

The exhaust is making quite a noise when driving and I can feel air escaping underneath the back box when I cover the exhaust pipe, so I know there is a leak. The back box is very corroded and flaky.

I took it to a garage who told me that the whole thing from front to back needs replacing. They have quoted a new front pipe, catalytic converter, centre pipe, fittings etc for £546 including labour and VAT.

Does anyone know if this is a reasonable price?
