KIA Sedona auto 2008 - Towing - mr bluesky

When towing a caravan after about an hour the revs shoot up to 3500 and the gearbox shifts down to 2nd gear. If i pull over and restart the car the problem clears for a while. Kia have not been able to help. I have read on the reviews that autos need an additional oil cooler when towing, can this be fitted along with the original or can a larger cooler be fitted?

Hi I have the same prblem, how was it fixed? I phoned kia moor st but they were vague at knowing the prblem.
