The airbag warning light came on recently on my 2002 A3 TDI. As the car was booked in for service anyway, I asked my local Audi dealer to investigate the light. Having done this they informed me the airbag needs replacing in the steering wheel, which will cost £339.
Goes without saying I don't want to mess around and delay replacement any longer than necessary, however, I wondered if anyone had any thoughts re using anyone other than Audi? Personally, depsite the cost, I feel like it's worth paying Audi to do it simply for peace of mind and knowing the replacement will be a genuine part, but I'd be interested in your views.
