Honda Jazz - Honda Jazz 62 Registration - Hondagirl53

My side wing mirror just blow off whilst I was driving. It made a loud bang as though there could be problem with the electrical wiring. Would this be covered under the warranty?

Were you able to recover the mirror?

Are you sure it wasn't clipped by or against something either at time it fell off or previously - maybe while car was unnatended?

While the mirror will be wired for r/c and heat it's also pysically secured. Unless there's a history of spontaneous ejection of mirrors on the Jazz I don't think the warranty will pay.

No, not able to recover the mirror. It just exploded whilst driving and didn't hit anything along the way. It might be a fault on my jazz. I was hoping it would be covered under the warranty.

You can only try the dealer and see what they say. I think you'll struggle tp prove it was a fault but OTOH they may know of other instances or treat it as goodwill.
