Daughters car again which is 90 miles away but this is the result of a conversation I've just had with her. Would appreciate any second opinions.

Car is a 1.4i petrol. Has done 60,000 miles on the clutch whixh has been pretty average stuff in terms of town/motorway driving.

She is saying it is getting difficult to put into gear, feels like there is bar stopping her moving the stick into gear. If she pumps the clutch pedal then it goes in ok. She reckons bite point is at around 60%/70% travel.

She has been told she needs a need clutch by a garage. I'm wondering whether it is more likely to be hydraulics?

Would appreciate any opinions.
