vw jetta - fitted car seats - i the t

I'm unhappy with the quality of cloth on the Jetta seats.

It seems like really thin cotton and looks like it will wear through within time.

I've seen some leather fitted car seats on roofbox.co.uk specifically for Jettas and wanted to know if any of you have had experience replacing seat covers before and could offer any advice recommendations.

The ones I'm looking at are nearly 300 quid so would expect them to fit perfectly etc but you have to fit them yourself so don't want to end up disappointed.

any experieces on the matter anyone please ?.

I've seen a Skoda Fabia's cloth seats retrimmed professionally by a specialist company for £1500+ and thought they looked good but not fantastic. I'd imagine for £300 you'll get something pretty crude, held together by elastic, velcro or tie straps that won't look "fitted" once you've sat on them a few times.

You're obviously bored with your Jetta what with the resprayed panel, the press twice locking, cloth seats so chuck in another £200 on top of the £300 for the carp leather seat covers and get a decent remap and have some fun.
