A named driver was banned without my knowledge - will I still be compensated for my written off car?

A named driver got banned without me knowing and I wrote my car off afterwards. Will I still get compensation for my car from my insurer?

If the named driver was driving your car at the time, the claim is invalid. You've said it was you driving so, as it does not link directly to the claim, they cannot repudiate under the 2015 Insurance Act. The cause of the repudiation has to be directly related to the claim.
